This term has been an odd one, on the whole. My supervisions have been scattered around meaning that i never felt it had got started... and now it's ending... and over 20% of my time at cambridge has already slipped through my fingers. fairly scary really. however i did try to get more involved - i played in the orchestra of the Mikado, which was great, and i've been going out more. don't worry though, im not quite at the drinking party animal stage yet
i'm going home on friday which i'm really looking forward to, although revision is not going to be fun. we did one text a year for each of Greek and latin at A level - this year we're doing ten. so I'm doing the equivalent of 10 a levels... joy. Still, i'd rather be doing 10 A levels at cambridge than, say, oxford (no, that joke still hasnt worn off)
well it looks like i've successfully managed to waste my time until supper... so i will go and have my staple diet of pasta now (it cant be good for me having pasta every night... but its so yummy) and then watch a film. i love the end of term (and of lucretius, whose 'de rerum natura' i thankfully finished this afternoon after 900 lines of slogging). hope you're all keeping well, and i will no doubt see some of you at the easter curry, which i'm already looking forward to. xxx

(PS If you hadn't worked it out already it's Tim
